Puzzle Super Fast
Wheel of Fortune fans are in for an incredible treat this week as the iconic game show introduces a high-stakes tournament with a jaw-dropping grand prize: a luxury sports car generously donated by comedy legend Jay Leno.
This special competition will bring back the week’s five highest-earning contestants for an ultimate showdown airing on Friday, May 15. Following the final Bonus Round, one fortunate winner will drive away in a sleek Corvette, reportedly valued at approximately $70,000.

The announcement instantly ignited excitement among the show’s dedicated fanbase, especially after the Monday night broadcast delivered a thrilling game filled with rapid-fire solves, tight scores, and a massive Bonus Round payout.
Meet the May 11 Contestants
Monday’s episode introduced viewers to Petal Reddick of Ashburn, an attorney with over a decade of legal experience. During her introduction, Reddick humorously clarified that while her husband’s name is Ryan, he is definitely not host Ryan Seacrest. She also happily noted that she and her husband share two children.
Reddick competed against Tammy Krzyzewski from Wilmington and Armando Gonzalez from Winter Haven.

The opening rounds were fiercely competitive right out of the gate. Reddick successfully deciphered the phrase “The Whole Kit and Caboodle,” putting early cash on her board and tying things up with Krzyzewski. However, Gonzalez quickly pulled ahead after solving a clever “Before & After” puzzle that merged “Periodic Table” with “Table for Two.”
That correct answer vaulted Gonzalez into the lead with over $5,000 in winnings.
Momentum continued to build for the Florida resident when he cracked yet another puzzle, “My Face Turned Beet Red.” This solve also earned him a beautiful vacation package to Jamaica, pushing his running total to nearly $19,000.

A Tight Race to the Finish
Despite Gonzalez’s massive lead, Reddick refused to back down.
During the fast-paced Triple Toss-Up round, she nailed two puzzles in rapid succession. She nearly secured the third, but buzzed in just a moment too early with an incorrect guess. Gonzalez capitalized on her slip-up and claimed the final Toss-Up puzzle for himself.
In the last puzzle of the main game, Reddick successfully solved “Deep Pockets,” allowing her to finish the night with a highly respectable $11,700.
Main Game Final Scores:
- Armando Gonzalez: $20,854 (Advancing to the Bonus Round)
- Petal Reddick: $11,700
- Tammy Krzyzewski: $2,000
For his Bonus Round category, Gonzalez selected “People.”
After the show’s standard letters (R, S, T, L, N, E) were revealed, he chose to add M, P, C, and A to fill out the board. The nearly complete puzzle read: “CAPT_ E A _ _ENCE.”

A Stunning Bonus Round Victory
Before the 10-second countdown clock even started ticking, Gonzalez confidently called out the correct answer: “Captive Audience.” The instantaneous solve left the studio crowd absolutely stunned.
Host Ryan Seacrest quickly confirmed the correct response, and the audience erupted into cheers as Gonzalez claimed an additional $55,000 cash prize.
This spectacular victory brought his grand total for the evening to an astonishing $75,854—and firmly positioned him as a top contender for the special Jay Leno Corvette giveaway airing later in the week.
With a luxury sports car still on the line and several formidable contestants preparing to return, fans are already hailing this as one of the most exhilarating Wheel of Fortune tournament weeks in recent television history.
